5754 Aluminum Sheet and Plate

Grade: 5754

Coil: 0.3mm-3.0mm

Sheet: 0.3mm-300mm

Width: 50mm-2000mm

Standard: ASTM, AMS, BS etc.

5754 is a non heat treatable aluminum magnesium alloy offering medium strength, good forming behavior and strong corrosion resistance in marine and industrial environments. Annealed sheet is used for drawn and formed parts, while strain hardened tempers increase yield strength. The alloy is weldable and widely used for vehicle bodies, automotive panels and general fabrication. For procurement, temper and thickness are essential because ductility changes with cold work. Chemistry also includes a combined manganese and chromium requirement that should be checked on the certificate.
