254SMO Stainless Steel Pipe is a super austenitic grade developed for severe chloride-bearing and seawater environments. Its high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen contents provide excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Copper further supports resistance in selected acidic media. 254SMO pipe is widely used in seawater cooling, desalination, pulp bleaching, chemical processing, gas cleaning, and aggressive process piping.
