347 and 347H are niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless steels designed for high-temperature service. Niobium prevents chromium carbide precipitation during welding and elevated-temperature exposure. 347H contains higher carbon content, providing improved creep resistance and high-temperature strength for long-term service.
