Finish: No.1, Polished

2507 super duplex stainless steel is a high-alloy duplex stainless steel designed for severe corrosion environments requiring superior strength and corrosion resistance. It contains high levels of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen, providing outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.

The duplex microstructure gives 2507 nearly twice the yield strength of standard austenitic stainless steels while maintaining good toughness and weldability. Its high PREN value makes it suitable for highly aggressive chloride-containing environments, including seawater and offshore applications.

2507 is commonly selected for demanding applications in oil and gas, chemical processing, marine engineering, and desalination industries where both mechanical strength and corrosion resistance are critical.
