NIMONIC 105 is a wrought nickel cobalt chromium alloy strengthened by molybdenum, aluminium and titanium. It combines precipitation-hardened strength with creep resistance for service up to approximately 950°C. The relatively high aluminium content supports strong aging response. Different heat treatments are recommended for turbine structures and fasteners, allowing the balance between long-term creep performance, tensile strength and ductility to be adjusted for the intended service.
