Grade: Nimonic PK33/Alloy PK33/UNS N07033

Sheet/Plate: 0.3mm-150mm

Strip/Foil: 0.02mm-16mm

Pipe: 6mm*0.5mm-1200mm*100mm

Bar: Ф6mm – Ф600mm

Wire: Ф0.01mm – Ф6mm

Others: Forged Rings, Flanges, Elbows, Tees, Reducers etc.

Standard: ASTM/ASME/AMS

NIMONIC PK33 is a nickel chromium cobalt alloy developed for demanding welded sheet components. Molybdenum strengthens the matrix, while aluminum and titanium enable age hardening. It combines elevated-temperature strength with useful ductility after welding and resistance to thermal cycling. Turbine combustion hardware is a principal application, and solution treatment followed by aging establishes the final operating condition.

Chemical composition

Element Weight percent Element Weight percent
Ni Balance Cr 16–20
Co 12–16 Mo 5–9
Ti 1.5–3.0 Al 1.7–2.5
C 0.07 max Si 0.5 max
Cu 0.2 max Fe 1.0 max
Mn 0.5 max B 0.005 max
Zr 0.06 max S 0.015 max

Mechanical properties

Typical forged-bar tensile properties, bulletin Table 9. Treatment: 2 h at 1100°C / air cool + 4 h at 850°C / air cool. Proof stress is at 0.1% offset, not 0.2%.

Test temperature °C 0.1% proof MPa Tensile MPa Elongation %
20 664 1127 33
500 587 973 37
600 571 957 31
700 571 973 21
800 571 757 18

Elongation is reported on the proportional specimen convention printed in Table 9. Bar values differ from the bulletin sheet values.

Application areas

  • Gas turbine combustion chambers
  • Jet pipes and reheat systems
  • Forged turbine ring components
