Others: Forged Rings, Flanges, Elbows, Tees, Reducers etc.

Standard: ASTM/ASME/AMS

NIMONIC 90 is a wrought nickel chromium cobalt alloy hardened by titanium and aluminium additions and aging. It was developed for creep-resisting service at temperatures up to approximately 920°C. The alloy offers high-temperature strength for highly stressed turbine components and hot-working tools. Solution treatment and aging must match the product form, because bar and sheet use different processing cycles to develop their intended mechanical properties.

Chemical composition

Element Weight percent Element Weight percent
Ni Balance Cr 18.0–21.0
Co 15.0–21.0 Ti 2.0–3.0

Application areas

  • Gas turbine blades and discs
  • Turbine forgings and ring sections
  • Hot-working tools
  • High-temperature springs, subject to wire condition qualification
