317L Stainless Steel Pipe is a low-carbon, molybdenum-rich austenitic grade designed for enhanced resistance to general corrosion, pitting, and crevice attack compared with 316L. Its low carbon content supports welded fabrication and corrosion performance. 317L pipe is used in chemical processing, pulp and paper, pollution-control systems, pharmaceutical plants, and process piping where aggressive chemical environments require a higher-alloy stainless steel.
