329 Stainless Steel Pipe is a high-chromium duplex stainless steel developed for elevated strength and improved resistance to corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Its alloy balance provides better chloride resistance than many conventional austenitic grades while maintaining useful fabrication characteristics. 329 pipe is used in chemical processing, marine equipment, oil and gas systems, heat exchangers, and demanding industrial applications where strength and corrosion resistance are important.
