2507 is a super duplex stainless steel designed for highly demanding corrosive services. Its high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen contents provide excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress-corrosion cracking, while the duplex structure provides high mechanical strength. 2507 fittings are widely specified for seawater, offshore oil and gas, desalination and aggressive chemical-process piping.
