Grade 2 Titanium Sheet

 

CP (commercially pure) grade 2 titanium sheet is primarily used in aerospace ducting applications, since it does not have the strength for most hydraulic applications. This alloy is also widely used in power generation, chemical processing and medical applications.

Standard: ASTM F67, ASTM B265,  AMS 4905, AMS 4907.

Applications of Grade 2 Titanium Sheet:

Initial Forging Approx. 1650F rough breakdown, finish 1550F
Sheet – Strip – Plate Annealing – Bars and Forgings 1200 – 1500F, 15 – 120 min, air cool slower 1200 – 1450F, 1 – 2 hours, air cool or slower
